Bay Area SAAB Club 2008 Event Calendar: Winter Down-Time

Well, we are all garaged for the 2007-2008 winter and planning activities for the Spring. They are sure to include a couple of dealer visits, picturesque drives in the area, and of course the Wine Tour. We ended the year without a single Saab being lost in the Santa Cruz mountains, so we will have to try harder next year...

We have lost track of our Vintage Saab Owners and would like to hear from you. If you are interested in driving your vintage Saab in one of our events, or if you have any ideas for an event you would like to attend, please drop one of the presidents an email.

We are always looking for trip leaders, rally leaders, tour guides, swap meet sponsors, and Saab owners interested in helping out while driving their vintage cars. Start thinking about 2004. We've had only a few road trips recently and seem to be seeing fewer vintage Saabs at the BASC outings. Should we hold a special BASC meet just for strokers and freewheeling cars? Email us.

SAF Owner Paul Perry's 2008 Vintage Race Season Schedule

Spend a day out at the track and see Paul race his award-winning vintage SAAB Sonett as he competes in a number of regional events. Follow Paul as he competes in SCCA and CSRG group events at Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Thunderhill Park, and more. We will soon be posting new photos and in car video from last season, so you can see what it like to race in these events!
